Don't Be Afraid Boy

Don't be afraid boy, swim out further and don't look back. Feel your body moving, feel the water on your skin, look at what is ahead, out in the sea. Them will be waves soon and storms will come and the waters will get rough and you will want to turn back and swim ashore. But it is too late now. The shore is too far. I would be a fool to turn back now, swim hard and straight ahead, swim through the rough waters and just battle through the storm. Soon enough the storm will pass and I will be on my way again. Again on my journey into the sea, to the open and to the mysterious, the pleasures and tortures of the wild and free. To the place I don't know but the only place I can love and call home.
